About the 864 Elite Volleyball Club
In the autumn of 2019, 864 Elite Volleyball Club was established by a group of local friends and volleyball coaches who share a deep passion for the sport and the youth in their communities. The club was founded by Coach Mellie Crumpton, Coach Ken Vanderhoof, and Coach Tommy Crumpton, all of whom bring a wealth of coaching experience to the table. Together, they have formed an exceptional coaching team, each coach complementing the strengths of the others. Their coaching philosophy centers around solid fundamental techniques and emphasizes the importance of ball handling skills.
When their previous club decided to relocate, they saw an opportunity to continue serving their local communities by establishing their own club, 864 Elite. The name of the club reflects their commitment to providing competitive volleyball opportunities for players in the area, without the need for extensive travel. 864 Elite aims to create a sense of family among its members and is dedicated to training athletes from a young age, helping them become well-rounded student-athletes with a strong work ethic. One of their primary objectives is to develop leadership skills, instill a sense of accountability, and foster discipline and dedication in their athletes, all while ensuring a positive and enjoyable experience.
