How to Register

1. Sign in or create an account
Click the “Sign In” link at the top of any page. If you do not already have an account, enter your email address at the bottom of the Sign In page and follow the instructions to create a parent account.

2. Add your athlete information 
If the system returns you to the login screen click on returning parent link and enter your email and password to log back in.  Then click add your dependent athlete(s) at the bottom of the page and enter informtion about your athlete if you have not done so.  Please consider uploading a headshot of your athlete by clicking your athlete’s name on your main profile page. A headshot photograph (posed/cropped shot of the athlete’s head and shoulders) is very helpful to our club for tryout purposes.

3. Register for tryouts
Click “Register a Player for Camps, Clinics, Programs, or Tryouts.” The Tryout Information page will open, where you can view the available tryout dates, times, and locations.  Select “View Details or Register” for the appropriate age group. Then, at the bottom of the page, click the “Register Now” button. Check the box next to your athlete’s name and follow the prompts to complete payment. Once payment is complete, you will receive an email confirmation for each player and program successfully registered. If you do not receive a confirmation email, please check your spam or junk folder.
 

Register for USAV Tryout Membership

You must register for a USAV tryout membership ($20) through the SportsEngine website if you did not have a USAV membership last season. If you need a tryout membership once you are invited to be on a team and accept the invitation, you will upgrade to a full membership and pay the remaining total for the full USAV membership. You must bring proof of this membership to any tryout.

Setting Up Your SportsEngine Account – Important Guidelines

• The primary account holder must be a parent or legal guardian. Please do not create the account under your child’s name.

• When purchasing the tryout membership, be sure to select the option to purchase it “for your child”, not for yourself.

• We recommend using a personal, non-work email address when setting up your SportsEngine account. Many families create a dedicated Gmail, Yahoo, or similar email account to manage all volleyball-related communication.

• If you have used SportsEngine in the past, please use your existing account. Creating a new account may result in duplicate entries and unnecessary complications within the system.

• If either the parent or child has previously held a USAV membership, it is important to use the exact name associated with that membership to ensure consistency and proper record matching.

• If a spouse would like access to a SportsEngine account, they may create a separate account for informational purposes only. Please note that only one parent or guardian can be designated to manage the child’s membership and account details.

What Should I Know About Tryouts?

Please arrive early to check in. (Check-in opens at least 30 mins prior to an age group tryout).  Every athlete will be assigned a number during tryouts. Please come dressed and ready to go. Players may be asked to attend a callback/makeup session. If a conflict arises, please contact us at 864elite@gmail.com.
